Lucia, my grandmother, married my grandfather, Nicola. They had three children, Angelina, Alessandro and Mariana, my mom.

My uncle Alessandro married the girl he met and fell in love with in high school, Penelope. They had children. A set of twins, Nicolas and Chase. My uncle and his wife died in a plane crash just a couple of months after their sons' second birthday. Since my mom is the twins Godmother, she and her husband Martin, adopted them and the kids now live in Tampa with my mom, Martin and my sister.
